Lidia Brito, CHET board member, has been appointed as the head of the science policy division at UNESCO.
Dr Brito takes the position at a critical time given the development challenges that the world faces. Dr Brito has extensive international expertise and, combined with her experience in Mozambique, this makes her an ideal choice for the UNESCO position.
The CHET board wishes her a smooth transition to UNESCO and look forward to continuing their work with her at CHET.
